About Support Africa Organization

What started as a grassroots movement is quickly growing into an international aid organization, now operating in five African countries. Based at Raleigh, North Carolina USA, most of our membership are ex-patriot Africans who understand the nature of the people and circumstances that they live in.

Our goal is simple: to provide AIDS awareness and education to as many people as possible. There are a number of factors that make this work difficult such as poverty, illiteracy, and other diseases (see the Africa section) but as we have seen they are not insurmountable.

In fact, some countries like Uganda are actually showing a decline in the incidence of AIDS/HIV. This is due completely to organizations like ours, both local and international, educating and distributing condoms to the sexually active population.

We have the will and the desire to meet this goal, but we do not have the funding. That’s where you come in.

With your help we can make a difference.

Every dollar we receive goes directly towards our programs. Because of our grassroots nature, we have low administration costs. And all of our programs run directly from our African offices where rent and overhead is cheaper.

Please help us with our mission. Your tax-deductible donation of any size is welcome. $1,000 or $100 or even just $10 will go a long way to providing the education and other services to prevent further spread of this horrible disease.

Thank You!
